After the great success of the guided tours in Salò during the Christmas period, which were fully booked, the Municipality and the Pro Loco have announced two more events in the series “Traces of History in Salò.” The tours will take place on Sunday, January 5, and Saturday, January 11, providing an opportunity to explore the cultural and artistic heritage of the town. The first event will include a visit to the Palazzo del Governo, the former seat of the Council of the Magnificent Homeland, where visitors will have the chance to admire significant works such as the painting “Christ in Glory with Saints Mark and Charles” by Andrea Bertanza. The visit will run from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, meeting at the infopoint in Piazza Sant’Antonio.

The second event will focus on the Cathedral of Salò, the parish church of Santa Maria Annunciata, an important example of Venetian heritage. This visit will take place on Saturday, January 11, with a meeting time of 3:30 PM at the infopoint. Among the works housed in the cathedral are canvases by renowned artists such as Zenon Veronese and Romanino. Participation in each visit is set at 5 euros, free for children up to ten years old; prior reservation is required via phone or email.
