Guidizzolo Hosts Conference on Euro Adoption and Financial Impacts

Perhaps not everyone knows the practical implications of the new European currency. For example, the relationships with banks: the need to convert investors’ share packages.

Commercial, fiscal, and civil law relationships; relationships with Chambers of Commerce for businesses; reconversion of social capital; accounting records; relations with the Treasury. Even public entities will need to adapt their budgets, tax rates, and tariffs, etc.

To address these and other questions about the new currency, the Comune di Guidizzolo and the Banca Agricola Mantovana, in collaboration with the Collegio provinciale dei Ragionieri, have organized a conference on the theme «Euro… at the Door».

Conference details

The opening of the proceedings will be entrusted to Alessandro Brocchi, director of the Bam agency in Guidizzolo, followed by greetings from the mayor Carlo Maccari.

The speeches will be given by Gianni Rottichieri, Bam official, who will discuss: «Impact on banking operations», and by Andrea Scaini, who will develop the topic: «The company: the conversion of social capital. Accounting records and financial statements. Relations with the Treasury and fiscal compliance».

This is the first conference on this topic held in the Alto Mantovano and will take place at the Teatro comunale di Guidizzolo starting at 10 am tomorrow.
