Haydn Orchestra at Arco Castle: Salieri vs. Mozart

The Castello di Arco will host the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento on Thursday, 13 August, at 9:00 pm, for **“Salieri vs. Mozart”**, a concert featuring works by Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The event will take place in the **Prato della Lizza** and will feature **Stefano Ferrario** (concertmaster and solo violin), **Maria Nazarova** (soprano), and the orchestra.

The program will compare vocal and instrumental pages from both composers, focusing on their different styles in late-18th-century Vienna rather than the rivalry popularized by films and literature. Ferrario will lead the performance from the violin while the soprano will take the lead vocal parts.

If it rains, the concert will be moved to the **Salone delle Feste of the Casino Municipale di Arco**. Tickets can also be bought at the castle box office from **8:15 pm**, subject to availability.
