From August 29 to September 11, 2024, the **Vittoriale degli Italiani** is set to host the second edition of Hedoné, an event that promises to enchant the audience with a sensory journey through **Eros**, light installations, and poetry. Following the success of the inaugural edition, the initiative aims to blend art and technology into a unique experience.
## Immersive Installations
The 2024 edition of Hedoné stands out for its artistic installations inspired by the conception of love according to **Gabriele d’Annunzio**. The author explored love in all its facets, depicting it as a powerful force that can elevate the soul or lead it to torment. The natural landscapes of the Vittoriale thus become the ideal stage to evoke d’Annunzio’s love stories.
Two of the main installations include “Fulgida Rosa” by Vulcano Studio and “Stringiti a me,” located in the rose garden and the Valley of the Savia water. These works aim to capture the alchemy between man and nature that characterizes the poet’s love tales.
## Art and Creativity
In the Dance Lake, “Passione Riflessa,” a production by Scena Urbana, will be showcased, utilizing a water screen to express the power of passionate love. D’Annunzio also investigated platonic love, an ideal and spiritual form that transcends physical desire; this theme finds expression in the installation “Per te,” created at the Mausoleum, offering a moment of intimate reflection.
## Shadows of Love
However, references to the darker sides of love will not be absent. The Nave Puglia will host a laser show curated by Andrea Gentili and Marco Inselvini, while the facade of the Prioria will be the focus of a video mapping project by Scena Urbana. Both events will tackle themes of pain and romantic disappointment.
## A Suggestive Night Itinerary
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a nighttime journey enveloped in light games and evocative projections of d’Annunzio’s words. The light installations will be scattered throughout the paths and gardens of the park, creating dreamlike atmospheres that invite exploration of the beauty of human emotions through a journey between dream and reality.
## Event Details
Hedoné is designed to be accessible to all ages and will take place from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with five entry slots every thirty minutes during the specified period. Tickets will be available online on the official event website or at the Vittoriale Ticket Office during designated hours.
