In recent hours, the subjects for the second written exam of the State Exam for the 2025 High School Diploma have been officially announced, according to the decree signed by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara. The first exam, which is common to all study paths, will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM and will focus on the Italian language. The second exam, on the other hand, will be dedicated to the specific subjects of the various educational tracks: for the Lyceums, for example, Latin for the Classical track, Mathematics for the Scientific track, and Foreign Language for the Linguistic track; while for Technical Institutes, subjects such as Business Economics and Geopedology will be included.
The final interview will follow the second exam with the aim of assessing the educational and cultural profile of the students. During this phase, candidates will also present the experiences gained in the Paths for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO) and discuss a critical paper if requested. Valditara emphasized that this exam aims to enhance the skills acquired by students over the years, with a particular focus on educational quality and mutual respect within the school environment.
