Housing Crisis at Lake Garda: Public Meeting Addresses Rising Rents and Evictions in Lonato
A public meeting on the housing crisis in Basso Garda will be held on January 29 at 8:30 PM at the Lonato Library to discuss rising rents, housing shortages, and eviction rates. The event aims to facilitate dialogue between local institutions and union representatives to explore potential solutions.
Attendees will include Marco Fenaroli, Brescia’s Family, Welfare, and Health Policy Councillor, and Angelo Andreoli, provincial secretary of SUNIA Brescia. The speakers will review the local housing situation and present ongoing or upcoming initiatives, such as rent support, social housing, and tenant protection policies. The event is organized by the new political group Lonato Insieme.
