Recently, in Padenghe sul Garda, the first phase of the hydrogeological restructuring project has been completed, a crucial intervention for flood prevention. After nearly a year of work, a drainage system has been installed on Via Verdi, allowing water to flow away without overloading the urban center. The total investment for this phase amounts to 1.2 million euros, with over 800,000 euros coming from PNRR funds dedicated to reducing hydrogeological risk.
The second phase of the works is scheduled for September 2025 and has a total cost of 1,660,000 euros, partially funded by regional resources. These new interventions will include connecting the existing drainage system along Via Puccini and Via Barbieri, as well as renovating the sewage and water supply networks. The municipal administration has already planned further works to enhance the functionality of the project, bringing the total investment to around 6 million euros, as emphasized by Mayor Albino Zuliani, who highlighted the importance of these projects in ensuring safety and quality of life in the area.
