I Giorni del Miele in Lazise: 47th National Beekeeping Fair and Ape d’Oro Award

Honey production in Lazise

The I Giorni del Miele in Lazise festival comes alive this weekend with the 47th edition of the national beekeeping fair, set up in the Scaliger village from October 1 to 4, 2026. The fair is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Producer Stands and the Ape d’Oro Competition

The exhibition route winds between Lungolago Marconi and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, where beekeepers from all over Italy present honey, royal jelly, pollen, and other natural hive products.

The Dogana Veneta, located at Piazzetta A. Partenio 13, is one of the venues for the festival. The national competition Premio Città di Lazise – L’Ape d’Oro rewards the best Italian-produced honeys, competing in the monoflora, spring and summer millefiori, and honeydew categories. The evaluation takes place on Sunday, October 4, during the conference on health and wellness.

Conferences, Educational Apiary and Workshops at Parco Prà del Principe

Three days of free seminars address ecosystem changes, bee health, beekeeping techniques, and apitherapy, featuring interventions by researchers and veterinarians.

At Parco Prà del Principe, the educational apiary allows visitors to observe the work of bees in the hive, and free workshops for children are scheduled. Access to the exhibition spaces in the historic center is free and open to all.
