During hunting inspections in the province of Brescia, several fines were issued to hunters in the Valtènesi area and the municipalities of Serle and Nave. Law enforcement caught the offenders using electromagnetic sound lures and illegal live bait to capture finches and protected species such as the Hawfinch and the Blue Tit.
This operation is part of the anti-poaching initiative “Pettirosso,” coordinated by the Arci Caccia Guards and the SVA Legambiente Nucleo di Brescia in collaboration with the Provincial Police and the Forestry Carabinieri. The inspections aim to ensure compliance with hunting regulations, especially with the start of the hunting season.
