Volta Mantovana has recently witnessed a significant operation against undeclared work, culminating in the reporting of a 33-year-old entrepreneur residing in Sommacampagna. The carabinieri, in collaboration with the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate of Mantova, uncovered two undocumented foreign workers employed without a regular contract during an inspection at a local business. The two individuals were engaged in waste disposal, and one of them was found to be in an irregular situation within the country.
The entrepreneur has been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Mantova and will face an administrative fine of €8,270 for violating labor regulations. This operation underscores the authorities’ commitment to combating the phenomenon of irregular work in the area, thereby ensuring greater protection for workers.
