Imbriani Criticizes Local Government, Questions Int.Dep.Cast. Management

Paolo Imbriani, provincial head of the immigration and humanitarian emergencies department of Forza Italia, comments on the controversy surrounding the management of Int.Dep.Cast. and criticizes both the company’s leadership and the local government.

If the request from the Lega Nord councilor Guido Zaglio for an open city council meeting is accepted, this controversy is expected to continue into the municipal chambers. Imbriani directly addresses Zaglio’s statements, expressing hope that the open council will take place: “I hope that the questions posed by Zaglio will be answered by the majority — Imbriani wrote in his statement — who has until now managed this company with information shared through the press and in the city council that is completely different from the true managerial intentions.

Originating solely for the territory of Castiglione, the company now seeks to expand beyond its sector, but does so through entirely questionable methods. Imbriani’s accusations refer to doubts recently raised about certain waste treatment practices carried out by Int.Dep.Cast., which are allegedly not known to the citizens. “I hope the truth will reveal the reasons not only for a minority but also regarding the health of the citizens,” he said.

Imbriani also shifts his focus toward the political stance of the Forza Italia coordination in Castiglione, questioning the apparent leftward drift of the local administration: “I also ask the coordinator of Forza Italia in Castiglione what his position is on Int.Dep.Cast., given that he is still listed as the creator of the civic list Castiglione al centro within this administration. I furthermore ask how much longer he intends to stay in this administration, which, ahead of important electoral consultations, makes provincial and local agreements with the centre-left.” Imbriani encourages Forza Italia members within the municipal council to take a clear stance, either in support of or against the actions of the council and the municipal company Int.Dep.Cast.
