This morning marked the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Local Police in Bardolino, located on Via Leopardi. The offices, now open to the public, have been relocated from Palazzo Gelmetti following a renovation that transformed a previously abandoned building into a modern and functional space. The work included a complete overhaul of the internal structures and systems, ensuring a more accessible environment for citizens and one that meets the operational needs of the officers.
Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized the significance of this new headquarters as an investment to enhance safety and the quality of services provided in the area. With a staff consisting of 9 permanent officers and several seasonal collaborators, the Local Police will now be able to operate more efficiently thanks to the strategic location of the new facility, which also facilitates prompt intervention when necessary. The headquarters will be open to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 11 AM, and on Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM.
