Incident on the Gardesana: traffic interrupted in Riva del Garda
An accident occurred in the early afternoon today, Wednesday, September 10, along the Gardesana, involving two cars between Riva del Garda and Limone sul Garda. The collision had significant repercussions on the traffic in Riva del Garda, with one of the vehicles ending up against the rocky wall adjacent to the road. A woman was on board and sustained several bruises, but hospitalization was not required.
The intervention of the Riva del Garda Fire Brigade, along with emergency medical services and law enforcement, was prompt to ensure the safety of the area and to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident. To facilitate rescue operations and secure the site, traffic on the state road 45 bis was blocked in both directions for several minutes; only in the afternoon did traffic resume normally after the roadway was cleared.
