Desenzano reopens the “Punto di Incontro” in San Martino della Battaglia, an initiative that will officially commence on Monday, March 31. This newly renovated space aims to better accommodate individuals with disabilities and is the result of collaboration between the cooperatives La Sorgente and Mongolfiera, forming part of the project called IN_SOLITO. The initiative, strongly supported by the Municipality of Desenzano and the Promoting Committee, seeks to create an inclusive environment where individuals can develop a personalized and active life path.
At the new Punto di Incontro, those involved in the project will not only manage the café and interact with customers but will also participate in organizing events in the multipurpose hall. Among the new features are the installation of a free library for book exchanges and an area dedicated to toy-sharing, further enhancing the surrounding green spaces. Mayor Guido Malinverno emphasized the importance of the project as an opportunity for the community to come together and grow collectively, always placing individuals at the heart of the proposed activities.
