A wounded swan was rescued thanks to the intervention of the Fire Brigade in Bardolino on the afternoon of Sunday, April 13. Some tourists, while at the local marina, noticed the animal in distress and immediately alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered that the swan had a fishing hook lodged in its beak, with the line still attached, necessitating an urgent operation to free it.
The rescuers managed to reach the animal aboard a rubber boat, acting swiftly before the swan became completely exhausted. After performing the necessary maneuvers to remove the hook, the swan was finally liberated from what had become a deadly trap.
