Tomorrow, Monday, November 25, the institutional walk “CamminiAmo” will take place in the seven municipalities of Alto Garda and Ledro, in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The event will begin at 10 AM in Piazza della Repubblica in Dro, where there will be institutional greetings and a musical performance by the choir Le Magnolie. The walk will cover part of the pedestrian and cycling path, as well as closed road sections, passing through Via Roma and Via Arco until reaching Ceniga, and then continuing in Arco via Via Santoni and the historic center.
The conclusion is expected around noon in the courtyard of the Arco town hall, featuring a moment of reflection. This initiative, which originated in 2019 following the murder of Eleonora Perraro, aims to raise community awareness about gender-based violence and is also inclusive of individuals with mobility difficulties. In case of bad weather, the gathering will be relocated to the municipal council chamber of the Municipality of Dro.
