Irregular Immigration and Crime in Brescia: Law enforcement agencies have intensified their controls, resulting in 15 expulsions and 36 orders of removal. Coordinated by Questore Paolo Sartori, the State Police, Carabinieri, and Local Police have identified irregular foreign nationals with criminal records for serious offenses such as robbery and drug trafficking. The expelled individuals, hailing from various countries including Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria, have been taken to Centers for Detention for Repatriation or repatriated directly. In addition to the expulsions, 36 orders of removal have been issued against foreigners without criminal records. These individuals have been given a period of 7 days to voluntarily leave the country. The checks also included residence permits, with 379 applications revoked or rejected due to a lack of necessary requirements.
