Italy’s Top Comedy Duo Brings Cabaret to Lake Garda’s Castello Park

Even on Lake Garda, you can find the “Fichi d’India”. Of course, we are not talking about the cactus plants discovered by Christopher Columbus, but about the well-known comedy duo, currently among the most popular in Italy.

Thus, tomorrow at 9 p.m., at the Castello scaligero park, an evening of cabaret has been organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the provincial tourism department. The event features the duo who, along with the beautiful showgirl Alessia Marcuzzi, hosted “Sanremo notte” last February.

The famous duo, formed in 1989 in Palinuro on a beach surrounded by prickly pears, consists of Bruno Arena and Massimiliano Cavallari.

Career and Appearances

Over the years, the comedians have participated in numerous prominent theatrical and television programs such as “Yogurt” on Italia Uno, four years on Radio Deejay, their appearance on “La sai l’ultima” on Canale 5, and finally the well-known “Zelig, facciamo Cabaret” by Claudio Bisio.

For this occasion, the evening of the musical event “Torri incontra…” has also been postponed, in order to prioritize what, at least according to municipal authorities, should be “an event or, at the very least, a very entertaining evening for everyone”.

Events and Controversies

Following the unpleasant memory of late July, related to the controversy sparked by Ron’s arrival in the town and the refusal to hand over the town keys due to an unruly act by the singer himself, Vice Mayor and organizer of the summer events Giorgio Bonoldi explained, “Now we will try to make up for it with this important appointment”.

He remains “still affected” by how the most significant musical event of the entire tourist season ended.

“We seized this opportunity, given that the news of the availability of the Fichi d’India came after a last-minute cancellation in Lazise.

This should therefore be a premiere for these comedians on the lakeside shores”.

Details about the evening and ticket costs

The available seats at the Castello scaligero park are estimated by municipal authorities to total around one thousand, with approximately 650 seats and the rest standing.

And the pricing will also vary: 20,000 lire for standing tickets and 30,000 for seated tickets.
