The Barracuda in Sirmione will host a much-anticipated jazz concert on Thursday 1 October, featuring the trio Linea C with Massimo Colombo, Walter Calloni and Giulio Corini. The event starts at 21:00, with the room opening at 20:30, and is described as a recurring date in the venue’s lakeside programme that marks the end of the tourist season.
Running the historic club for decades, Andrea Veclani and his family have chosen the well-known Linea C for this edition. The trio’s music is presented as moving between elegance, groove and research, focusing on the interplay between piano, bass and drums, alternating refinement and intensity while balancing control and expressive freedom. The first Linea di Confine (Linea C) appearance on Lake Garda dates back to 1994, also thanks to the programming of the late Silvio Scalvini, and the October evening will be introduced by Fabio Korju Calabrò, a long-time collaborator of the venue.
For the night’s arrangements, the Barracuda will provide bread, wine and salami for everyone until 20:30. Seating is available only in chairs, without tables, and the public is not allowed to bring food or drinks.
