Lake Garda and Sustainable Tourism: Cultural Events for the Future
The Paesaggio Garda Festival returns, an important initiative dedicated to sustainable tourism and cultural events, taking place from October 1st to 31st. Now in its eighth edition, this festival aims to raise community awareness about the importance of caring for the landscape through a series of activities such as walks, conferences, tastings, and workshops. The events will involve various local entities and associations, focused on promoting best practices to tackle overtourism and foster a conscious culture of the territory. Throughout October, numerous events are planned, including the “World Gardesane Days,” which will provide opportunities for reflection on environmental and social issues. In particular, the festival will showcase projects such as “The New Challenges of the Landscape” and “Sustainable Walks of Garda,” aimed at enhancing the natural and cultural resources of the area. The activities will be enriched by collaborations with public and private entities, creating an active dialogue among citizens, tourists, and organizations to protect the local environmental heritage.
