The weekend of August 3rd promises to be packed with sporting events around Lake Garda, featuring various disciplines and locations. On Saturday, August 2nd, the schedule includes a football test match between Union Brescia and Virtus Entella at the Lino Turina Stadium in Salò, while in Malonno, the mountain running event “62′ Piz Tri Vertical” will kick off at 9:30 AM. Additionally, swimmers will have the opportunity to participate in the tour of Garda Island, an open water swimming competition offering routes of 6 km and 2 km.
Sunday, August 3rd, will be highlighted by the “Swim Run Benacus,” an event that combines swimming and running in memory of Viola Balzaretti. This race, part of the national Csen championship, features a total course of 14 km with alternating segments of running (3.1 km) and swimming. In Vobarno, there will also be a recreational walking event with distances of 4 and 7 km, providing all outdoor sports enthusiasts the chance to participate in these activities in the stunning setting of the lake.
