Lake Garda Beaches Near Full Clearance After Sampling Meets Safety Standards

The situation of bathing water quality at the beaches of Lake Garda, as reported in the weekly bulletin issued by the Comunità del Garda in collaboration with the environmental secretariat of Adac/Enit Sommerservice, is approaching full normalcy.

Based on analyses from the latest sampling conducted on July 5th, the results fell within the parameters set by Italian regulations, which are much more restrictive than those in the rest of the European Union.

Therefore, all beaches are deemed suitable for bathing; a total of 125 points monitored by local health authorities.

The beaches on the Brescia side

Including the three beaches on the Brescia side (all in Desenzano: from Madonna della Villa, to Rivoltella bathing center, to Spiaggia d’Oro bathing center), which previously had been restricted.

If subsequent samples also meet the standards, these beaches will be reopened, marking the first full clearance for Garda since monitoring began.
