Lake Garda Diving Regulations Seek Support Boat Requirement Reform

Scuba diving in Lake Garda must be freed from the requirement of always having a support boat present. For years, this demand has come from divers belonging to many sporting clubs who — not only from Verona, but from all over Italy — frequent the Benaco shores for their dives. Now, to tackle and try to resolve this legislative “logjam,” there is also a letter from the regional Veneto assessor of Alleanza Nazionale, Massimo Giorgetti.

Intervention of the assessor and legislative initiatives

Few days ago, Giorgetti took pen and paper and sent a letter to the president of the provincial government of Trentino, the president of the provincial council, and the leaders of the provincial council of Trento, to «highlight the urgency of the approval, by the Trento provincial council, of the new law concerning navigation regulations on Lake Garda».
