Lake Garda History Festival 2026 Opens Fourth Edition With Historic Events Along the Brescia Riviera
The Garda Lake History Festival 2026, now in its fourth edition, inaugurates a new cycle titled “Passeggiando con la storia” and will run between May and June 2026 across several municipalities along the Brescia Riviera, featuring public history talks with prominent Italian figures.
The schedule includes: 22 May 2026 at 20:30 at Teatro Gaetano Bonoris in Montichiari with historian Giordano Bruno Guerri on “Audacia, ribellione, velocità. Vite strabilianti dei futuristi italiani”; 31 May 2026 at 11:30 at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera with writer and journalist Giampiero Mughini on “La storia attraverso i libri”; 5 June 2026 at 21:00 at Palazzo Minerva in Manerba with historian Emanuela Scarpellini on “Il fascismo delle cose”; 13 June 2026 at 18:00 in the Giardini della Casa del Podestà in Lonato with journalist-historian Antonio Carioti on “L’uomo che sfidò Mussolini. Giovanni Amendola, antifascista liberale”; and 19 June 2026 at 20:30 at the Portici della Magnifica Patria in Salò with historian Mario Avagliano on “Voto alle donne! La storia di una battaglia, dalle suffragette alla Costituente.”
