Lake Garda Hosts Third National Lottery Draw During Centomiglia Regattas

This is the third time that the national lottery has docked at Lake Garda. This year’s prize draw, which includes billion-dollar jackpots, is combined with the Centomiglia Games regattas, the grand prize of the Lake Garda national lottery, scheduled in Gargnano from August 24 to 26.

There will be 18 teams competing, divided into the Asso 99, Dolphin, and Protagonist classes. It will resemble an International Palio of Garda, with boats representing various countries and several locations on the Benaco coast.

For the Veronese shore, Brenzone will definitely participate, featuring Castelletto champion Chicca Salvà. “Our organization will use the proceeds from ticket sales lottery tickets (pictured), which are available nationwide, to finance cultural events, environmental protection activities, and efforts to promote the lake’s image,” reports Giuseppe Mongello, president of the Garda Community.

Historical results and initiatives

In the 1991 edition, one million and 185 thousand tickets were sold; in 1995, over one and a half million, with significant impacts on enhancing Garda’s image.

In 1991, the profit was 718 million lire, and 507 million lire in 1995. The regattas were complemented by the ecological tour Goletta Verde and various cultural and folkloric events.

Regatta program

The racing course for the Garda National Lottery Grand Prix will be the stretch of lake between the Brescian shore, Brenzone, and Torri.

The drawing of the winning tickets is scheduled for Sunday, August 26.
