The levels of Lake Garda remain stable and under control, according to the latest update provided by the Garda Community. This communication, prepared at the specific request of several lakeside mayors who had called for monitoring of the lake’s levels, confirms optimal water parameters across the entire Garda area.

The data from the most recent measurement indicate that the lake level is over 100 centimeters above the zero hydrometric level in Peschiera, while the outflow remains steady at 80 cubic meters per second. These parameters, according to the technical report, continue to ensure a stable equilibrium for the area without registering any critical issues.

In the statement issued in response to the local administrators’ concerns, Pierlucio Ceresa from the Garda Community reiterated that “the current conditions continue to meet all the various needs related to water resources.” The response to the mayors confirms the resilience of the system that manages multiple sectors: from the supply of drinking water to agricultural irrigation, from tourism to industry, and even hydroelectric production.

The update highlights the ongoing collaboration with AIPO, the Interregional Agency for the Po River, in the technical oversight of the basin. The periodic monitoring system allows for the interests of the lakeside municipalities to be kept under observation within the integrated management that includes the Sarca River, the Mincio, and the lakes of Mantova.

This constant control approach confirms the effectiveness of the preventive management model, which aims to maintain a balance between the needs of the territory and environmental sustainability through regular updates on the status of the water system.
