An info point for swimmers set up by the Coast Guard has been established in Piazza Tre Novembre in Riva, with the aim of promoting lake safety among bathers, sports enthusiasts, and boaters. Lieutenant Antonio Veneroso presented the informational gazebo, which features display totems in three languages (Italian, English, and German) and printed materials containing useful advice to reduce the risk of accidents and health issues in the water. This initiative is part of the national campaign “Safe Sea-Lake” and was attended by Mayor Alessio Zanoni, who praised the important work carried out by the Coast Guard.
Many tourists and residents stopped by the info point to consult the informational banners and receive brochures with tips on how to enjoy a safe summer season. This activity is the result of the Day of the Sea and Maritime Culture, which took place in the spring at schools around Lake Garda, where over 1,500 students participated in conferences dedicated to water safety.
