Following the exceptional weather events that have hit Salò, the Municipality has announced the upcoming reopening of the western Gardesana state road. The safety works, managed by ANAS, have proceeded quickly and it is expected that the affected section will be accessible again from 6:00 PM on Friday, June 28th.
The inspection of the ANAS construction site, carried out this morning, has confirmed that the interventions are on schedule. The section closed from kilometer 68+750 to kilometer 69+400 has undergone intense consolidation work following the landslide that occurred last Sunday.
The technicians present on site have confirmed that all the necessary operations to ensure the safety of the road section have been carried out according to plan. The initial closure was established on June 24th and the reopening order from ANAS is expected tomorrow.
The Municipality of Salò has expressed gratitude to all those who have worked tirelessly to resolve the situation. In particular, special thanks have been extended to the ANAS technicians, the company responsible for the works, the municipal technical office, and the local police of Salò.
