The only exceptions apply to events organized by the municipality. Furthermore, retailers are not allowed to sell take-away alcohol unless it is packaged in airtight or sealed containers. This measure seeks to reduce the problem of littering with empty containers in public areas, thereby helping to maintain order and cleanliness in the town. With this initiative, Limone sul Garda aims to strengthen its image as a tourist destination that is attentive to quality of life and the surrounding environment.
