From June 27 to July 10, 2025, the Domus Hall in Salò will host a solo exhibition by Maestro Athos Faccincani, an event that celebrates the **beauty of the local landscape** through the artist’s unmistakable pictorial language. This exhibition offers an opportunity to admire works dedicated to the evocative views of the **Lake Garda** and the majestic **Rocca di Manerba**, central themes in Faccincani’s recent production. His creations, known for their extraordinary use of light and color, transform nature into a bright and optimistic vision of the world, evoking vivid emotions in the viewer.
### Rediscovering Garda and the Rocca di Manerba
Athos Faccincani has shared a personal artistic and inner journey connected to these lands. The artist recounts having painted between Moniga and Manerba forty-five years ago, when the Rocca was not yet the Natural Reserve of Rocca, Sasso, and Lacuale Park. At that time, his perception of the lake was influenced by a “diaphanous” light and mists that gave a melancholic aura to the landscapes, reflecting his state of mind. After a long artistic journey that took him around the world in search of new light and more vibrant colors, Faccincani returned to his lake with different eyes. He noticed how the fog, both physical and metaphorical, had disappeared, allowing him to rediscover in the Rocca a place rich in surprises and happy emotions, where time seems to flow slowly, following the rhythms of nature. This return to his roots has enabled him to explore new chromatic and luminous realities, expressed in his most recent works with joyful expressiveness.
### The Artistic Journey of Athos Faccincani
Born in Peschiera del Garda on January 29, 1951, Athos Faccincani began to gain recognition in the 1970s for the expressive intensity of his figures. A significant inner change in 1980 led him to dedicate himself to nature as the undisputed protagonist of his painting, characterized by vibrant and unmistakable colors that earned him recognition from both the public and critics. His rise to fame has taken him to exhibit in major international cities such as New York, London, Tokyo, and Monte Carlo, solidifying his reputation as the “Master of Color.” He has also received numerous accolades throughout his forty-year career.

The exhibition of Athos Faccincani at the Domus Hall, located in Piazza Duomo in Salò, will remain open to the public until July 10, 2025. Opening hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Admission is free.
