On Sunday, April 6, the lakefront of Limone will serve as the starting point for the marathon, which will begin at 9:00 AM, while the half marathon will kick off from Piazza delle Canoniche in Arco at 9:30 AM. This sporting event is part of the Arco Slow initiative, dedicated to sustainable mobility, taking place in Arco on the same day. During the event, the city’s streets will be closed from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to allow for recreational activities, conferences, and various entertainment.
To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, several roads will be closed in conjunction with the running events. In Riva del Garda, closures will affect Gardesana Occidentale and other streets from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. In Arco, via Gardesana and other thoroughfares will be closed from 9:00 AM until noon and beyond. Traffic restrictions will also be in place in Torbole from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. These measures have been implemented to facilitate the smooth running of the races and to promote a day focused on environmental sustainability.
