Limone Town Tour Returns With Guided Tours and Limoncello Tastings
Limone Town Tour, a series of guided visits to Limone’s historic center and its ancient lemon house, restarts every Wednesday through September 30 in Limone. The tours, open to tourists, Garda locals and residents, are offered in Italian, German and English and conclude with a limoncello tasting. Tickets cost 10 euros per person, with free admission for children up to 10; information and reservations are available on the organizer’s official tourism site.
The town’s citrus heritage was already noted by Goethe in 1795. The tour winds through narrow lanes and old houses, past the Church of San Rocco and the harbor, with a stop at the Castèl lemon house.
