Two literary events will take place on September 27 and 30 at the Casa del Podestà in Lonato del Garda, within the monumental complex of the Ugo Da Como Foundation. The first meeting, scheduled for September 27 at 5 PM, will feature Flavio Nuccitelli presenting his second novel, “Quando fuori è buio,” published by Fandango. During the event, the author will engage in a dialogue with Giulia Cuter, exploring the themes of a generation caught between unconfessed desires and existential dissatisfaction. The story follows the lives of four young people in Rome during the first two decades of the new millennium, revealing the challenges they face as they seek meaning in their daily lives. The second event will occur on September 30 at 5:30 PM, when writer Gaëlle Bélem will present her novel “Il frutto più raro. La scoperta della vaniglia,” in conversation with Lorenzo Rossotti. Set in the 19th century on the island of Réunion, the book tells the story of Edmond, a Creole boy who, despite adversity and social injustices, manages to make an extraordinary discovery in the botanical world. Both events promise to provide thought-provoking insights and engagement for literature enthusiasts. Italian Version
