Lombardy Allocates 12.5 Million Euros to Mountain Communities

Lombardy’s Regional Government has approved a €12.5 million fund for Mountain Communities, including €1.5 million to support shared management of services. The allocation expands competencies for these communities in areas such as wholesale markets, environmental impact assessment, agriculture, forestry, wildfire management, and civil protection.

The new distribution criteria maintain previous funding weights and allow for partial use of funds in joint initiatives. Specific allocations include Valle Camonica (€957,123), Valle Seriana (€847,685), and Valli del Lario e del Ceresio (€595,681), among others, supporting regional development and service coordination.
