Lombardy Launches 300K Euro Grant for Veteran Groups and Law Enforcement Initiatives

Lombardy regional government has approved a €300,000 fund for associations of veterans, law enforcement, and armed forces operating in the region for 2026. The initiative, part of the 2025 budget, aims to support civic volunteerism, safety, and legality through projects in areas such as culture, social issues, security, and association maintenance.

Eligible organizations must have been active in Lombardy for at least one year and be financially autonomous. The fund covers up to 80% of project costs, with individual grants ranging from €1,000 to €10,000. Resources are divided with 25% allocated to supra-municipal projects and 75% to local associations, with all activities due for completion and reporting by December 16, 2026. The measure emphasizes strengthening community safety and civic participation through voluntary efforts.
