Lombardy Invests in Outdoor Tourism: New Contributions for Campsites and Glamping. The Region has launched a call for proposals with a budget of 15 million euros, active until October 9, to promote the enhancement of accommodation offerings, with a particular focus on campsites and glamping facilities. This initiative is aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the Lombard tourism sector that wish to improve the quality of hospitality through innovative and sustainable investments. Fundable initiatives include both the renovation of existing structures and the creation of new business ventures centered around outdoor hospitality.
Councillor Barbara Mazzali emphasized the importance of this call in supporting local tourism businesses in meeting the needs of modern travelers, focusing on more contemporary and accessible facilities. The non-repayable grant covers 50% of eligible expenses, with amounts ranging from 80,000 to 300,000 euros. Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the “Bandi e Servizi” platform of the Lombardy Region.
