Lonato and Bedizzole Civil Protection Deploy New Emergency Vehicle

Lonato del Garda’s Civil Protection team has received a new truck equipped with a 7-seat cabin and a crane to enhance rescue operations in Lonato del Garda and Bedizzole. The vehicle was officially welcomed on December 23 at the Intermunicipal Civil Protection Group headquarters, with local mayors highlighting its importance for transporting equipment, including a pneumatic tent acquired earlier in 2023.

The vehicle, funded through a €23,975 co-financed investment by both municipalities, is registered to Lonato del Garda and will supplement the group’s existing resources. It aims to improve logistical support by enabling the transport of heavy materials during emergencies, increasing operational efficiency.
