A serious incident of violence has led to the closure of the nightclub “Just Me” in Lonato, following an order from the police chief of Brescia, Paolo Sartori. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 9, when two men armed with semi-automatic pistols opened fire at the entrance of the venue around 3:40 AM, causing significant damage to the door and endangering those present. Investigations are currently being conducted by the Carabinieri and the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office, while the police have suspended the establishment’s license for 30 days under Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security. The assault appears to have stemmed from an altercation that took place inside the nightclub shortly before the shooting. This event has raised concerns about public safety in the local community, prompting authorities to take drastic measures to ensure public order and prevent further escalations of violence. The closure of the nightclub aims to restore a safe environment for residents and patrons of recreational venues. Italian Version
