Lonato del Garda has recently launched a new digital portal for the payment of the tourist tax, an initiative aimed at simplifying procedures for local accommodation providers. During a training meeting with industry operators, the Municipality showcased the features of the “Pegaso Stay Tourist” platform, designed to make tax payments quicker and more accessible through the PagoPA system. Operators will be able to manage these transactions online at any time, using their SPID credentials.
This tool represents a significant step towards the digitization of municipal services, as emphasized by Councillor Massimo Castellini, who highlighted the importance of improving administrative efficiency and reducing bureaucracy in the tourism sector, which is considered a strategic resource for Lonato del Garda. The initiative is part of a broader context of technological innovation promoted by the municipal administration.
