Lonato del Garda Announces Three Nights for the 2026 Jazz Festival

The Jazz Festival 2026 returns to Lonato del Garda from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September, with three concerts at 9:00 pm in the courtyard of Palazzo Zambelli, home to the municipal library. The fifth edition offers a programme focused on Italy’s and international jazz scenes, with free entry. Full details are available at lonatoturismo.it.

On the opening night, “Giovani Emergenti” features Sofia Polimeno (voice), Francesco Assini (trumpet) and Alessio Paglia (piano), students from the jazz courses at the Conservatory of Rovigo. They are followed by Matteo Alfonso and Giovanni Maier with “Mingus Revisited”, a duo reinterpretation of nine Charles Mingus tracks. Saturday 5 September spotlights the trio of Bebo Ferra, Dario Deidda and Jorge Rossy, mixing Bill Evans compositions with original pieces by Ferra. The festival closes on Sunday 6 September with Rita Marcotulli’s “Autoritratto”, a piano solo set built around original works, tributes to cinema and Italian singer-songwriter music, held in the Cortile di Palazzo Zambelli (via Zambelli 22).
