On Monday, April 1st, the Rocca di Lonato del Garda (Brescia) will open its doors to offer a day of fun for the whole family. Located on a hill overlooking Lake Garda, the Rocca provides a beautiful setting for an outdoor picnic and games. The spacious green areas within the ancient walls will be available for those who want to relax on the grass and enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake.

Throughout the day, there will also be special activities for children, such as fairy tales, shows, and workshops that will stimulate their imagination. There will be ten stations with different activities, themed performances, games, and even a Botanical Treasure Hunt, where children can learn about the plants in the Rocca park. Additionally, there will be an Escape Game dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, a quiz that will engage both young and old.

Families can also visit the Ornithological Museum and the exhibition dedicated to the Views of Rome by photographer Gabriele Basilico and engraver Giambattista Piranesi, which will be set up in the sixteenth-century Casa del Capitano. Furthermore, it will be possible to visit the Casa del Podestà with the exhibition “Nino Ferrari. The art of metal between tradition and modernity,” which will be on display until June 9th.

As for food, the gastronomic proposal will be provided by Eatinero, who will offer sweet and savory street food delicacies.

Please note that the event will be canceled in case of bad weather. The entrance ticket costs 10 euros, and reservations are mandatory. For further information, you can contact the Ugo Da Como Foundation at +39 0309130060 or visit the website www.fondazioneugodacomo.it.
