Lonato del Garda Hosts Prestigious International Opera Competition Lonato all’Opera 2026

Lonato del Garda will host the second consecutive edition of the international opera singing competition, “Lonato all’Opera,” from February 11-14, 2026. The event, organized by La Bottega della Lirica, follows a successful previous edition with over 100 young singers from around the world.

The first two days will feature auditions judged by an international panel, selecting semifinalists and finalists. The top three winners will receive cash prizes sponsored locally and will compete for roles in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” and Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro,” scheduled for summer performances in the region. The final concert will take place at Teatro Italia on February 14 and is open to the public.
