The municipal administration of Lonato del Garda has announced that the first phase of the modernization works on the San Zeno Gallery, located along the S.S. 11, has been completed, and the reopening of the gallery is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025. During the period from April 19 to May 5, the gallery will be accessible both day and night, although there will be an active construction site. The works carried out so far have included civil renovations and the upgrading of the lighting system.
Starting from May 5, 2025, the second phase of the works will begin, which will involve nighttime closures of the gallery from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM for approximately nine months. During this time, further interventions will be made to improve safety standards and install new technological systems, in addition to resurfacing the pavement and sidewalks. Alternative routes will be clearly marked to ensure safe traffic during nighttime hours.
