The 67th Lonato Fair is approaching, an event that celebrates the agricultural tradition and food and wine events of the region, scheduled to take place from January 17 to 19, 2025. The event, which is supported by various institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture and the Lombardy Region, promises a series of cultural activities and entertainment for all ages. On January 10, the Grand Gala presentation will be held, while the organizing committee, led by Michele Ugolini and Laura Giacomelli, is already hard at work to ensure an engaging experience for visitors.
The fair will feature established events such as the food and wine circuit “Töt Porsèl,” with participation from around twenty local restaurants, as well as culinary competitions like “El salam pö bù de Lunà.” There will also be thematic conferences and fun initiatives such as the Mayors’ Gymkhana. The Councillor for Agriculture emphasized the fair’s importance in supporting the local agri-food system, while the Mayor reiterated its value as a symbol of local traditions and community productivity.
