The Municipality of Lonato has announced the implementation of a new experimental traffic plan in the city center, which will be in effect until midnight on July 22nd. This initiative has been taken to alleviate the inconvenience caused by the redevelopment works on Via Gerardi.
The main objective is to ensure efficient traffic management during the construction period, through specific changes to the road circulation. The following are the main variations introduced:
Via Girelli:
– The stretch between Via Antiche Mura and Via Noce will be converted to a one-way street towards Via Noce.
– At the intersection with Via Noce (south), vehicles coming from Via Antiche Mura will have to stop at the stop sign and give way, with a mandatory right turn towards Via Noce.
– At the intersection with Via Noce (north), a left turn towards Via Noce is mandatory.
Via Antiche Mura:
– At the intersection with Via Albertano da Brescia, vehicles coming from Via Pozzolo will be able to continue straight towards Via Girelli or turn right onto Via Albertano da Brescia.
