Lonato Seeks Elderly Volunteers for School Assistance Program Today Deadline

Deadline today, May 18 for submitting applications for assistance to children at school entry and exit points.

The Municipal Administration of Lonato intends to involve some elderly individuals in socially useful work activities, assigning them this task subject to a selection interview.

As explained in the announcement by the Social Policies Department, elderly applicants will receive a fair hourly compensation.

The services are to be performed during the school period, from Monday to Saturday.

Applications, complete with personal details and tax code, must be addressed to the mayor and received by the protocol office by today at noon.

The application form can be collected at the Public Education Office.

A dedicated training course on the traffic code will be held, which all candidates must attend.

Training course and objectives

An initial operation aimed at helping these “figures” — who wish to continue offering a positive contribution to their community — understand traffic rules and how to assist children during school entry.
