Lonato’s Cultural Spring Offers Women’s Day Show and Theatre Performances

Tomorrow, naturally (considering the date), will kick off with an evening dedicated to Women’s Day, as part of the «Spring Theater 2001» organized by the assessorato alla Cultura di Lonato (Guided by Alessandra Fontana) and the parish.

The event begins at 9 p.m. in the hall of the Teatro Italia, with the show «Sessibar». Admission is free for women. The recital is presented by the theatre troupe «Cara…mella».

The performance does not present a traditional storyline but rather a series of situations offering a glimpse into the conflict between the sexes and the mutual assertion of roles of power.

Other Events in the Cultural Spring

The other meetings scheduled during the cultural spring include March 23, featuring the coro lirico Sereno and its soloists (organized by the Gruppo missionario salvatoriano di Lonato), April 7 with L’Avaro by Molière and the company Lavori in corso, April 21 with «Alleluia, brava gente» by the Piccolo teatro del Garda.

The curtain falls on May 5 with the lively comedy «L’ocasiù de fa bogada» performed by the Riultela company. Information at the Ufficio Cultura (030-91392245).

The ticket price for each evening is 10,000 lire (free admission for children under 10).
