Lorenzo Ghirotti Clinches Second Stage of Italy Cup ILCA 6 in Crotone

Lorenzo Ghirotti of Fraglia Vela Riva won the ILCA 6 class at the Italy Cup in Crotone on March 14-15, dominating the Gold Fleet with eight races and finishing with a strong 2-1-1 score in the final day. His victory was secured with a significant margin over Matteo Silvestro and Giovanni Bedoni.

Ghirotti, accompanied by coach Mauro Berteotti and team, announced plans for upcoming training sessions ahead of the European ILCA 6 Championship in Croatia this May. Other notable sailors included Claudio Crocco (6th), Matta Di Lorenzo (7th), Leonardo Grossi (38th and 2nd under 17), Matteo Scialpi (qualified for Gold Fleet), and Giorgio Boggio (81st).
