Lugana Parco al Lago Offers Regional Flavors with Lake Fish Menu

New proposals for a weekend exploring the typical flavors of the Brescia region as part of the event dedicated to lake fish and Valtenesi products. The Lugana Parco al Lago restaurant offers, throughout the duration of the event (until April 8), a menu available for lunch and dinner, starting with an aperitif served with fried tiny fish (aoline), and a starter of cooked coregonus carpaccio with an arugula and extravirgin olive oil salad (one of the area’s typical products), and smoked eel mousse in a crust of black bread with ginger emulsion.

The menu continues with torchio spaghetti with pike-perch ragout, Garda olives, and fresh tomato, then Valtenesi black truffle treccia of whitefish. For dessert, Brescia-style bossolà (a type of Margherita cake) with elderberry fruit sauce, and finally, small pastries.

The price is 75,000 lire, including wine (Chiaretto, naturally). The Lugana restaurant of Hotel Parco al Lago, via Verona 69/71, Sirmione (BS), phone 030919003, closed on Wednesdays.
