On the weekend of April 5th and 6th, Toscolano Maderno will host the Mad of Lake, one of the most spectacular bicycle races on Lake Garda, and the only one of its kind in Italy featuring urban downhill racing. The event, which has gained notoriety over the years, will see the participation of prominent athletes such as the Czech Tomáš Slavík, winner of the previous edition, along with other well-known names in the sport. With a course stretching 1.6 km from Montemaderno to Piazza San Marco, enthusiasts can look forward to an event that promises adrenaline and unexpected twists.
The event is organized by Garda Pro Bike, led by Davide Trebbi, with the support of 180 volunteers coordinated by the local sports delegate. The schedule includes free practice and qualifying rounds on Saturday morning, while Sunday will feature the final race, with an awards ceremony set for 6:00 PM. Anticipation is high not only among the competitors but also among the numerous fans who will crowd the course to enjoy the spectacle.
